Under the radiant moonlight of the 2026 reunion season, Cici Thuong Dinh Yen and Pulu Studio proudly present the masterpiece Loc Hop Quynh Hoa — where the sacred energy of heaven and earth culminates in ethereal splendor. Inspired by the mystical, incense-veiled aura of Vietnam's ancient Hầu Đồng ritual, the majestic divine deer descends bearing blessings of fortune and auspiciousness, radiating vibrant life that awakens the proud Queen of the Night into full bloom beneath the golden jade moon. This mystical encounter between sacred beast and night blossom unveils a magnificent, sublime, and enchanting moment, inviting you to step into the world of Loc Hop Quynh Hoa.

The artwork sketches the structure of a standing altarpiece framed by sweeping, serpentine stone columns that support an ornate pediment embellished with volute scrolls. At its heart, the apostles gather around the opened stone tomb—some gazing upward, others pointing toward the heavens in sheer awe at the Virgin Mary, whose arms are outstretched as she is assumed into paradise amid billowing clouds and an escort of putti, radiating streams of divine, sacred light.
Từ nguồn cảm hứng trên, chúng tôi xây dựng một hình tượng nhân vật trung tâm -  “Hươu Thần giáng thế” với những tầng ý nghĩa đặc sắc:
- Trong chữ Hán, loài hươu (鹿) được đọc đồng âm với chữ Lộc (祿) trong tài lộc, phú quý — nhằm gửi gắm trọn vẹn lời chúc hanh thông, thịnh vượng.
- Trong văn hoá phương Tây lẫn phương Đông, hươu là biểu tượng của sự thông tuệ và linh khí của rừng già. Vì thế hòa hợp rất hoàn hảo với các chủ đề mang tính huyền bí, cổ tích và tâm linh.
- Sở hữu cặp sừng kiêu hãnh, vươn rộng uy nghi và lộng lẫy, hình thái của hươu mang lại sức hút thị giác mạnh mẽ cho ngôn ngữ thiết kế.
- Hươu là hình tượng quen thuộc, dễ tiếp cận ở mọi nền văn hóa, tạo tiền đề thuận lợi để nâng tầm, "thần thánh hóa" một cách giàu cảm xúc.

Drawing inspiration from the work above, we conceptualized the central figure, The Descent of the Sacred Deer, imbued with distinct layers of meaning:
- In Sino-Vietnamese semantics, the character for deer (鹿) is homophonous with the word for prosperity (祿), embodying wishes for auspicious beginnings and enduring wealth.
- Across both Eastern and Western folklore, the deer symbolizes wisdom and the pure essence of ancient forests, blending seamlessly with mythical, fairy-tale, and spiritual motifs.
- Crowned with proud, sprawling antlers that exude majesty and elegance, the deer's silhouette lends a powerful visual appeal to our design language.
- As a familiar and relatable figure across cultures, the deer offers the ideal foundation to be elevated and "deified" into an emotionally resonant, sacred beast.
Gian thờ Đức Mẹ được thiết kế với cấu trúc vòm cuốn mang phong cách Baroque. Đối ứng với đó, Hươu Thần cũng giáng lâm nơi điện lễ hình cánh cung đậm chất Indochine thời Việt Nam xưa.

The Virgin Mary’s shrine is designed with an arched vault structure in the Baroque style. Correspondingly, the Divine Deer descends upon an arc-shaped ritual altar deeply rooted in Indochine aesthetics.
Đức Mẹ vốn gắn liền với hình tượng tấm áo choàng xanh thiên thanh — sắc màu của bầu trời, biểu trưng cho cõi thiên và thánh thiện. Tương tự, Hươu Thần cũng được khoác dải lụa đỏ son — sắc màu tượng trưng cho quyền uy, hoàng tộc và là biểu tượng của may mắn, thịnh vượng trong văn hóa Á Đông.

The Virgin Mary is traditionally associated with her celestial blue mantle—the color of the sky, symbolizing the heavenly realm, transcendence, and divine holiness. In parallel, the Divine Deer is draped in a vermilion red silk sash—a hue embodying authority, royalty, and the quintessential symbol of good fortune and prosperity in East Asian culture.

Surrounding the Virgin Mary’s shrine is the presence of sacred statues, the apostles, and winged putti. In counterpart, the space around the Divine Deer’s ceremonial altar is adorned with antique vases, bonsai trees, and traditional lanterns; most notably, the night-blooming cereus in full lunar blossom, whose delicately flared petals visually amplify the deer's antlers, heightening its sense of majestic grandeur.

To replicate the aesthetic of artisanal lacquer boxes on an industrial production line, material selection plays a decisive role. The design combines copper-orange and metallic gold hot foil stamping across decorative motifs, set against a deep reddish-brown backdrop reminiscent of precious timber. A spot gloss UV coating is also meticulously applied to key focal elements—such as the Divine Deer and the night-blooming cereus—delivering a deep luster that closely mimics authentic traditional lacquerware.

In terms of visual design, the Divine Deer was conceived to embody the presence of a Vietnamese deity; its decorative elements, adornments, motifs, and color palette all deeply evoke indigenous spiritual culture. Consequently, we drew inspiration from and distilled the aesthetic essence of the Holy Mother (Thánh Mẫu) figure in Đạo Mẫu (Mother Goddess worship)—an ancient, quintessential Vietnamese folk belief system.
Cặp sừng hươu được cách điệu tạo thành dáng dấp của chiếc mũ miện Thánh Mẫu đồ sộ, được chế tác bằng vàng kim tinh xảo, đi kèm là rất nhiều trâm cài điểm ngọc. Hai bên sừng mở rộng vô cùng ấn tượng với các tầng rèm châu, chuỗi hạt lấp lánh rủ xuống đong đưa. Sự chuyển động theo từng nhịp không chỉ tạo cảm giác sống động, mà còn mô phỏng sự lay động của mây trời, sương khói chốn bồng lai, biểu trưng cho sự hiện diện linh thiêng, thoát tục.

The deer's antlers are stylized into the silhouette of a monumental Holy Mother coronet, exquisitely crafted in gleaming gold and accented with numerous jewel-encrusted hairpins. Spreading outward in an impressive span, both sides of the antlers feature cascading tiers of beaded curtains and shimmering jade tassels that gently sway. This rhythmic movement not only breathes dynamic vitality into the form, but also evokes the ethereal drift of clouds and mist in celestial realms, symbolizing a sacred and transcendent presence.
Toàn thân Hươu Thần có uốn lượn dải lụa đỏ thắm bay bổng tựa tà áo choàng gấm. Tấm lụa viền chuỗi ngọc và điểm xuyết họa tiết lông chim khổng tước dát vàng.

A flowing, crimson silk ribbon drapes gracefully across the Divine Deer’s form, reminiscent of a brocade mantle. The silk is bordered with beaded pearl fringe and embellished with gilded peacock feather motifs.
Cổ Hươu Thần cách điệu cổ áo hình loa với những cánh hoa phát sáng. Cơ thể đeo nhiều chuỗi hạt ngọc trai, nhiều tầng kim hoàn chạm trổ. Trên da cũng được khắc họa chi tiết hoa văn mây lửa bằng vàng kim thể hiện tấm lòng tôn sùng tuyệt đối. Từng móng guốc Hươu Thần cũng được trang trí hoa văn tinh xảo. The Divine Deer’s neck features a stylized flared collar composed of myriad luminescent petals. Its body is adorned with multiple strands of pearl beads and cascading tiers of intricately carved gold jewelry. Etched onto its skin are detailed golden fire-cloud motifs, expressing absolute reverence. Each of its hooves is embellished with delicate patterns, and wherever its feet tread, a golden lotus miraculously blooms.
Vượt lên trên một thiết kế bao bì thông thường, Lộc Hợp Quỳnh Hoa là kết tinh của nghệ thuật tạo hình đương đại và linh hồn của những di sản tâm linh lâu đời.
