Description
The Mid-Autumn Festival has a history of over 3,000 years, held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. On this day, ancient farmers believed that the brightest and roundest Moon would coincide with mid-autumn harvest time. Therefore, the harvest of agricultural products before sunset is celebrated by the people as a holiday, with lots of lanterns and decorations. They also prepare tea and cakes so that after coming home from the field, they will reunite with their families, eat delicious cakes, and be proud of their cultivation.

The familiarity and friendliness images (flat winnowing basket, teapot, plate of jam, banana leaf, rice field, terraced field, the “golden forest and silver sea”, lotus flower, fruit tree, etc.,) are used to show a popular lifestyle, following nature and appreciating the gifts that nature gives.

For us, every year on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, when the sun goes down, the Mid-Autumn Festival officially begins. Using the image of the sun paralleling the moon will promote the balance between yin and yang, day and night, light and dark. That also helps us exploit the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival more suitable for our customers.
